Structural Histories is a collection of attempts to understand space. Space within boundaries and through the immensity of the mind. Homes that once belonged to us and places we are trying to reclaim. This exhibition features six emerging artists who interpret their personal and shared environments in a variety of media. Through painted responses to everyday encounters, precariously leaned structures, and ghostly plays of light, these artists explore their attractions to erased architecture and phantom blueprints. Feeling immense connection to fleeting moments in their lives, they are determined to preserve or reinvent what remains.
Featuring the artwork of Shelby Feltoon, Meagan Hepp, Joshua Lennon, Sue Montoya, Joel Rabadan, and James Reese.
